South Africa
What can you expect from South Africa as a destination? The possibilities are endless! That is why we prefer to create a bespoke tour for you to match your interests. From mountains to two oceans, South Africa has everything. Not only is there a huge variation of landscapes, but the activities are exceptional as well. Top that off with lots of culture, history and of course, wildlife!
Local Hospitality
Aside from the best accommodations near the touristic highlights, we also offer the “Go Trluy Local” experience. No less than 30 Kamammas can welcome you to their homestay and invite you to a Cook-Up with Kamamma. The Kamamma’s were an initiative of Dreamcatcher South Africa and have been a succes for over 30 years now. Aside from our Kamamma’s we work with trained local guides on our destinations. They know their surroundings like the back of their hand and are ideal travel companions. Interacting with our locals, Kamammas and local guides is an experience which few tour companies offer.
Natural wonders
When you say wildlife or safari in South Africa, you instantly think of Kruger National Park in the north of the country. Aside from the Big 5 on land, South Africa also offers the Big 5 of the ocean! Or should I say oceanS? The western border of the country is the Atlantic Ocean andthe eastern border is the Indian Ocean. Between the National Park in the north and the Southern most tip of Africa you can find so much more than just wildlife. Some of the world’s most beautiful scenic roads will take you along impressive waterfalls, breathtaking mountain passes and canyons. The Garden Route is most likely a term you’ve heard before.
Breathtaking Accommodations
South Africa is home to some of the an exciting diversity of accommodations. An example is the Montagu Country Hotel where Spa in healthy mineral water and stunning art deco decor transports one back to the 50’s; Boschendal Wine estate and soil to fork organic farm, with its historical Huguenot origins; Cloud-9, perfectly placed at the foot of the majestic Table Mountain, offering spectacular views of Cape Town on your doorstep; stay at the famous Homestay with Kamammas, eat local food and rub shoulders with the locals in the street. These are but a few.
How about waking up to the sounds of the Africa’s animal kingdom in an incredible lodge along majestic rivers teaming with wild life? Though that might sound expensive, we offer accommodations for every budget! Our favorite place to stay is still with the Homestay Kamamma’s, which is an experience in itself.
