These impressive waterfalls are on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The waterfall is part of the Zambezi River and is the world's largest waterfall, with a width of 1,7 kilometers. The width and height combined result in the world's largest sheet of falling water. The falls are roughly twice as heigh and well over twice as wide as North America's Niagara Falls. Expect to run into some unexpected wildife along the Elephant Corridor between the Zambian city Livingstone and the city Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. Expect to do some unforgettable activities here!
It is one of the best countries in the world to spot wildlife. Chobe National Park is the only place worldwide where you see hippos out of the water during the day, because there are so many other species to steal their food. Take a boat ride on the Chobe River to see elephants and hippos play in the water for as far as you can look. The Okavango Delta is another incredible part of the world to explore in a traditional Mokoro. You will visit the Namibian community across the border.
After flying down to George our local driver will pick you up and take you along the Eastern Garden Route. This is one of the most popular scenic routes in the world. Spot the cheetahs and ostriches near Oudtshoorn. The next destination is Melkhoutfontein, where you will go on the unique Waste Land Graced Land experience. From here you pass through the most incredible mountains and the "Tuscany of South Africa". You arrive at a gorgeous authentic Art Deco hotel from where you will explore the surroundings in a vintage car and taste the regional wine. Along the way you visit a local school project and have lots of immersive experiences.
Explore the Greater Winelands region and have a Cook-Up with a matriarch of a local community. You obviously can't miss going up Table Mountain, learning about the history on Robben Island and discovering the Cape Peninsula with the penguins.
